Concept
Simple also meant clever. The patient’s life was presented as a rotating dot (circle of life). Each other person had a life-line, which functioned as a guitar string that reacted every time it was crossed by the patient dot, creating the ripple effect. The number of strings and their distance from each other was directly linked to the melody of the music.
Animation
Stylish minimalism with hefty complexity under the hood, as music and animation timings were so closely interlinked. The music was purchased from a production library but had to be completely deconstructed to create a custom melody that delivered to the beats of the script.
